Introduction to Teaching for Postgraduate Research Students - Teaching@university

You may be one of the many research students working part-time as a university tutor, teacher or demonstrator during your candidature period. These online modules provide an introduction to teaching for those of you who are starting out as tutors.

The modules are expressly designed to assist postgraduate research students to:

increase your confidence and understanding of effective teaching and learning practices
suggest strategies for supporting students' learning outcomes
acknowledge your commitment to teaching at university

You can undertake the modules at your own time and pace. Alternatively, moderated versions may be available at some universities where you join with fellow students and work with an experienced teacher as moderator to go through the modules together.
